Focusing
Focusing is a process used to help us listen to our inner wisdom, gently get in touch with the feelings trapped inside our body, enhance the creativity and natural ability to pay attention to everything that we are aware of in the "here and now" and draw with more clarity from a new and fresher source.
It gives us the opportunity to capture all information hidden in our subconscious and loosen blocks that for so long have acted on their own, hidden and protected by a thick blanket of fog and confusion.
This simple act of listening, without distorting the reality of the signs and symbols that spontaneously emerge to the surface, gives us an immense opening and allows us not only to understand ourselves, but to express creatively what has been revealed.
It helps us to cultivate patience and courage, inspires and reconnects us with an immense space of quiet and awareness, which permeates our inner world and welcomes all our experiences without ever intervening or judging them.
When we practice Focusing regularly, we realize that we are no longer projected towards receiving help from outside, often misleading and distracting us from our reality. Instead, we become more available to go directly to the source to ask for guidance, clarification, and the nourishment we need.
Getting more and more in real contact with our inner currents, we are no longer willing to barter our understanding for an answer that arrives from our usual thought processes and faded comfort zones. We find, rather, that we can easily delve with ease and naturalness in all those unfamiliar areas that seemed unattainable. Without fear or escape routes.
We begin to live in harmony with ourselves and with life, no longer hiding from all the problems, challenges and invisible knots that need to be untied.
It is an invitation to be more authentic and real and share the same values with the world around us, because we are finally able to live with empathy and true intimacy the relationship with ourselves and, therefore, with all the other people whom we meet on our way.
I hold individual sessions, seminars and workshops to anyone who wants to use this approach to pursue their inner search.
